Roy “Rowdy” P. Liner has a lifetime of experience in the oil and gas industries. In the 1960’s Rowdy worked for Shell Oil Production. In the 1970’s he owned and operated Dynamic Shipbuilding.
Rowdy then moved from shipbuilding to offshore supply boats. From 1978 to 1992 he owned and operated 3R Boats. A brief history of 3R Boats follows:
Two boats supplied Texaco out of Morgan City from 1982-1987 for Dexter Babin.
Three boats supplied Amoco out of Port Fourchon from 1984-1989 for Charlie Dupre.
Three additional boats supplied Chevron out of Venice from 1982-1987 for Don Bayard and Jack Phillips.
Since 1998 to present, RPL Oil Distributor and Supply, LLC primarily supplies diesel and petroleum products, supplies/erects scaffolding, performs fabrication to exact standards, and supplies wire rope and cable.
In 1999 we supplied Texaco life safety equipment for VK 786 Petronius Platform.
Since 2003, RPL has supplied products to support land and marine operations of the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers. Through oil spills, hurricanes, and normal operations the Corps has depended on RPL to supply and deliver a wide range of materials meeting the specifications provided.
